Wah Tea Estate is the largest tea plantation in Palampur and the Kangra region, spread across 526 acres. The estate is one of the largest manufacturers of tea in the Kangra region. What was initially a two-room cowshed has been transformed into a cutting edge factory with tea that rivals any part of India. Currently, Wah Tea manufactures the highest quality Kangra Orthodox black and green teas from the original Camellia Sinensis cultivar, which according to research conducted by the CSIR, have the highest catechin content resulting in the highest amount of antioxidants in the tea.
We have a bouquet of fine teas that are completely pesticide free, and carefully hand-plucked. A request for flavoured tea from a family friend resulted in our new line of naturally flavoured green and black teas.
KANGRA BLACK first flush super fine leaf tea manufactured from the most delicate hand plucked leaves during the months of April- May. This tea carries a distinct flavor and a delicate aroma of the region.
KANGRA GREEN made from spring picked leaves and pan fired in the traditional Kangra method. This process of manufacturing is used to enrich the healing properties of this tea as well as bring about a unique flavor. Green tea is rich in antioxidants which have well known health benefits.
CHAMOMILE GREEN our finest green tea is blended with pure chamomile flowers to create a natural blend. Chamomile tea has healing, antioxidant and cleansing properties and it is well known to relieve stress and anxiety. It is commonly used as a solution for insomnia.
LEMONGRASS GREEN our finest tea leaves are blended with natural lemongrass leaves grown on the estate. Green tea is rich in antioxidants while lemongrass has anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties.
TULSI GREEN the finest handpicked tea leaves are blended with natural tulsi leaves grown on the estate. Green tea and tulsi are both rich in antioxidants. This blend can fight various chronic diseases and helps to de-stress and re-energize.
LEMONGRASS TULSI GREEN made from the finest hand plucked tea leaves and blended with natural lemongrass and tulsi leaves grown at the estate. Each cup has anti-microbial and anti-fungal properties, and is rich in antioxidants which fights various chronic diseases. This blend helps to de-stress and re-energize.
MASALA TEA made from the finest hand plucked tea leaves and blended with cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, calendula petals and natural oil. Each cup is the perfect pick-me-up.
ROSE TEA made from the finest hand plucked tea leaves and blended with rose petals and natural rose oil. Each cup is fragrant and beautifully smooth.
